The Chinese Culture Festival
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China the Chinese Culture Festival opened on the 13th September in Budapest.
On Monday I went to the Madách theatre with my colleagues to watch the performance of the China National Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble. We had a great time however the opening speech was quite long. :) When the show was over we gladly accepted the invitation for the gathering (Chinese food - yahoo!) and I have a bet on it that we were the last guests to leave...
As several works of Chinese artists will be displayed in an exhibition called "Ink, Not Ink," in which the artists show a bold contemporary interpretation of the ancient art we are planning to visit the Museum of Agriculture as well this weekend.
The festival features a variety of activities including films,exhibitions and dance programs and will run until the end of the year so please do not miss it!
