Trip cancelled!

I found this photo on the internet... Poor horses...

As the ash could from the Icelandic volcano still hangs over Europe I could not make it to Strasbourg to participate in the study session. Due to the volcano caused flight chaos, the organizers decided to postpone the whole event to another date... Actually, they were really nice. Not only have they sent out emails, but called each and every participatns making sure that nobody leaves to Strasbourg. Forecasts say that this ash cloud is likely to spread in the coming days, but nobody can tell how long the eruption could last... Poor people living in Iceland! Houndreds of them fled away... I really hope that they are safe and sound!

Anyway, I have been thinking about my cancelled trip to France. While it is sad and I am deeply disappointed I try to focus on the advantages of it. Firstly, I gained some extra time to finish my academic letters for the Fulbright scholarship. Secondly, I can practise more for the TOEFL exam. And believe or not it is not as bad as it sounds! :) I have never ever felt that motivated before to finish with some essays as I do now. :) But I am still to figure out how to practice more frequent so I might ask for some days off at work...

Since I have been gone

I know! I has been a while. And several friends of mine asked why this blog is not updated anymore? Well, the obvious reason is that I had so many things going on and simply did not have the time for blogging anymore. Unfortunatelly I am still not finished with the personal statement and project proposal I am writing for the Fulbright grant, and as we all know, time is ticking. The deadline is the 3rd May so please keep your fingers crossed for me to finish on time. Anyway, next week is excepted to be a special one... If the flight disruptions in Europe do not get worse because of the volcanic ash from Iceland, I will fly to France to participate in a Study session organized by ENGSO. This is basically a European NGO with the aim to represent the interest of young people with sport. In additon they promote sport, health and the most important: international cooperation in the sport sector! I can't wait to be there and make new friends. :)

Mit is szeretek én Bécsben?

Szeretem a Naschmarkt-ot.

Szeretem Hello Kitty-t. Kivéve, amikor a fürdőkádban ül... Vagy alszik... Elbújik... Rosszalkodik...

Szeretem a türelmet.

Struggling with studying

Yes, that is true. After 9 whole days of studying I can admit that I dread the prospect of sitting for the BAR exam as I cannot believe that there is any way possible to pack into my brain all of the information I will need for that. I also worry about the fact that it have been four years since I had graduated from law school and it is quite difficult to convince myself to study 10 hours by day. At this moment I have a fear that this whole BAR exam is just about time-management discipline and perspectives...I made a study plan for myself which - I am not just kidding- kills me. WAH!!
